It was windy and cloudy yesterday, and got cooler last night so it put me in the mood for something suspenseful, moody, mysterious, and a bit scary. I thought Harry Potter's Half-Blood Prince would work. I'm a bit of a Potter fan, and read the first two books, but my reading time has been in short supply lately as I've spent most of it getting my house in order to put on the market for sale, and updating it, etc. At any rate, I enjoyed the movie and it pretty much fit my mood. It's a bit long at two and a half hours, and probably would work well over a cable network like Showtime, etc. as you could watch segments of it at a time. I'd started the movie several weeks back, but didn't watch the finish. So I plugged it into the DVD player and started it at the beginning to refresh my memory. It's a good arc in the Potter films as it now shows the characters growing up. It's starting to set the stage for the dark side of things, and I think those actors like Helena Bonham Carter fit their roles rather well.

I really enjoyed the second half of the film where everything goes dark in mood, and the dark forces meet up at the Weasley's house, how angles were shot in certain architectural parts of Hogwarts, and the overall mystery of who is the Half-Blood Prince and why is there one. It ended on an interesting note too as I have not read the latter books and wonder if Harry will continue to unravel the mystery alone (not betting on that one) and how it all will play out.

I'm just finishing the last book. I'm dying to know where it's going.

Mosha--I'm sure they're fun reading, I love the mythos. I've been in the process of moving--so little time for reading, etc.
